Brenda Lundy Jackson, Ph.D

Dr. Brenda Lundy completed her PhD in developmental psychology at the University of Toledo. She then spent time in Miami, FL. as a post-doctoral research fellow at both Florida International University, where she investigated infant memory and preschool children's memory for traumatic events, and at the University of Miami Medical School, where she studied the impact of maternal depression on infant cognitive, social and emotional development. At  Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, Dr. Lundy is the director of the Child Development and Family Research Lab. Her  research focuses on  mothers' and fathers'  contributions to  children's early cognitive and social-emotional development, including infant attachment and children's social understanding.
