1. What is the protocol for wearing Honor Society recognition apparel at the IPFW Commencement Ceremony?
Membership in Phi Kappa Phi is an outstanding achievement.  On Commencement Day May 10, 2017,  Phi Kappa Phi members  may wear the navy blue and gold honor cord (shown below) to recognize their society membership. Members can purchase an honor cord at the PKP Online Store, in addition to other Phi Kappa Phi items.

You can wear this at Commencement.

Price: $ 15.00 plus shipping

Medallions and stoles are also sold through the online store, but these may not be worn at Commencement in accordance with Academic Ceremony policies.
  Gold satin sash
Do not purchase this gold satin sash. You won't be able to wear it at Commencement.
However, you could wear it to the office to impress your co-workers, but they might think you're a bit strange.
medallion Do not purchase this medallion. You won't be able to wear it at Commencement.
However, you could wear it around the house to impress the members of your family. They probably wouldn't think you're any stranger than normal.

2. If I wasn't at the induction ceremony, how can I pick up my certificate, pin and a program?
Contact  Professor Debrah Huffman in LA 103 to make arrangements to pick these up.
If you joined after the induction ceremony and would like a certificate and pin, please contact Professor Huffman in advance so a certificate can be printed for you. You will then be contacted when it is ready to be picked up.

3. If I received an invitation, can I still join PKP?
Great news! If you received an invitation to join this year, you can still become a member of Phi Kappa Phi up until May 31, 2017. Click HERE to join or click the button below. National dues are $50.00 for new members.  The Chapter dues are typically $15.00, but we are pleased to waive these fees for 2017 in honor of the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of our IPFW Chapter Induction. We regret that we cannot reimburse the $50 National Fee.

See the Answer to FAQ#2 if you joined after the ceremony and would like a certificate and pin.
