Wireless Configuration for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad

  1. On the device, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned ON.
  3. Under Choose a Network...
    1. For Faculty or Staff: tap IPFW Faculty Staff.

    2. For Students: tap IPFW Student.

  4. Under Enter Password enter your IPFW credentials:
    1. Username: your IPFW username.
    2. Password: your IPFW password.
      1. Note: When you change your IPFW password, you will need to update it here.
  5. Tap Join

  6. On the Certificate page as shown below, tap Accept.
  7. You are now back to the Wi-Fi Networks page, where you can see a check mark in front of IPFW Faculty Staff or IPFW Student and the fan shaped signal strength symbol with solid lines, which indicates that the IPFW wireless connection is now established.
    1. Note: Known networks will join automatically. Turn Ask to Join Networks ON, to be prompted to join an unknown network when known networks are unavailable.

  8. On the Settings page, you should see IPFW Faculty Staff of IPFW Student next to Wi-Fi.
